The renowned and largest African airline, Ethiopian Airlines announces the construction of what it calls Airport City in the vicinity ofBishoftu (Debrezeit) town, 40 kilometers away from the capital Addis Ababa.
Ethiopian CEO Mesfin Tasew told local media houses that the construction of the airport will begin in the current fiscal year at a cost of 5 billion dollars, adding that the ever-increasing number of passengers the airline accommodates is the reason behind the construction of this mega project.
